2018-2019 Campus Developments

May 31, 2018

It is a most amazing time for us as a congregation, observing the many ways in which God’s Hand of favor continues to be upon us.  Simple growth in our “numbers” indicate His delight in growing His Kingdom among us, through us, within us and beyond us.

Because of the wonderful reality of growth, combined with our ongoing and heartfelt desire to be growing, so that none are turned away, we continue to faithfully move ahead in the ways we find Him to be leading us!

Already, some very significant work has been done to develop our South Campus (Yankee Hill Road, near 67th Street), with groundbreaking currently being planned for late September.

At the same time, our Central Campus Building Committee is moving ahead in finding the best and truly God-pleasing (and God-directed!) ways of expanding our ministry footprint here.

In efforts on both campuses, with prayer and financial support fully coordinated, the intent is to bless people in the truth of salvation – knowing Christ Jesus, growing deep in His Word, and finding ways of serving/blessing/loving in His precious Name.

These are certainly challenging times.  More wonderfully, however, and to the Gospel point, these are certainly wonderful times of Kingdom advancement and growth.  Your support, participation, prayers and Christian goodwill are crucial aspects of these campus development efforts.

Please consider these two verses from Holy Scripture:

II Corinthians 9:8 – And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things, at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work

Mark 4:30-32      -  Again Jesus said, “What shall we say the Kingdom of God is like, or what parable shall we use to describe it?  It is like a mustard seed, which is the smallest seed you plant in the ground.  Yet when planted, it grows and becomes the largest of all garden plants, with such big branches that the birds of the air can perch in its shade.”

Join me in rejoicing, in praying, in supporting the work which our Savior continues to amazingly place before us.  To Him be the glory, for our times and forever.
